WHERE TO DOWNLOAD
Sushi Diver 4.0.0 is coming soon to Google Play. A demo build is already available on Uptodown for players who want to try Sushi Diver outside Google Play. The Google Play version will continue to use Google Play Billing, while a separate payment stack for alternate stores is still in progress.
ACCOUNT AND CLOUD SAVE
Sushi Diver 4.0.0 adds a new account system. Players can sign in with Google or continue with a guest account. The main change is cloud progress. Player progress is now stored on the server, so it is better protected when reinstalling the game or switching devices. A guest account can also be linked to Google later to make recovery easier and safer.
The update also adds sign-in on a new device through Player ID and a one-time code. The code appears on an already authorized device so the player can safely connect another device to the same progress. For the player, the takeaway is simple: progress becomes harder to lose.
PLAYER PROFILE
Every player gets a profile. It includes a nickname, unique Player ID, and playerTag. Player ID can be copied and sent to another player to make search easier.
The profile also shows player statistics:
- deepest dive
- fish caught
- collection percentage
- game start date
- badges and achievements
- friends
- likes
- followers
That makes the player account a visible part of Sushi Diver — not just a hidden save file.
FRIENDS
The update adds a friends system. Players can search for others by Player ID or tag, send friend requests, accept incoming requests, decline them, or cancel outgoing ones.
Friend profiles can be opened and viewed. Follow and Like actions are added too, so players can interact beyond the friends list alone. This is the first major step toward a more social Sushi Diver.
Players get an inbox with system mail, reward letters, and a Claim button to collect attached rewards. The update also adds player-to-player mail. Sending a letter to another player costs 100 gold. The system includes a block list and reports so players can block unwanted messages and send reports.
Mail uses a two-panel interface: the letter list on one side, and the selected letter or compose window on the other. Mail is no longer just a notification tray — it is a full communication and rewards system.
SOCIAL HUB
A new Social Hub window is added to the game. It opens from the mail button on the boat and contains three main tabs:
- Friends
- Profile
Social Hub keeps the Sushi Diver visual style and shows the player's currencies in the header so the interface stays connected to the main game screen. This window becomes the main home for account, social features, and communication.
ONLINE INFRASTRUCTURE
Sushi Diver 4.0.0 also adds more online infrastructure. The game now uses server time, remote config, and server sync for daily quests. That helps online systems run more reliably and prepares the game for future live features.
The new social features require a server connection. That matters because accounts, cloud saves, mail, friends, rewards, and synced quests all depend on online infrastructure.
GOOGLE PLAY BILLING AND DISCOUNTS
For Google Play players, purchases continue through Google Play Billing. The update also includes a billing migration for the Google Play build. That gives Sushi Diver a stronger technical base for managing products, discounts, and future sales. Google Play players will get better support for future offers, limited-time discounts, and store purchase logic.
PAYMENTS FOR ALTERNATIVE STORES
For alternate builds, including Uptodown versions, a separate payment foundation is in preparation. That work includes Stripe and PayPal infrastructure, server validation, purchase history, duplicate-reward protection, and country-tier pricing.
Google Play and alternate store payment logic are separated. Google Play uses Google Play Billing; alternate builds use their own checkout path.
BADGES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
🏅 Patch 4.0.0 lays the groundwork for badges — visible milestones that other players will see on your profile.
Four core badges are already in the game (tap one to open its wiki page):
Each badge can later become a separate visible achievement on the player profile. That gives players more reasons to progress, defeat dangerous creatures, and show their story in the game. Badges matter especially for social features, because they make player profiles more meaningful.

Sushi Diver 4.0.0 makes the game more connected and safer for long-term progress.
